THC Rechner (Dose & Potency Calculator)
Use this calculator to estimate total THC, concentration, and dose per serving. Values are estimates only and can vary based on product quality and preparation method.

What is a THC Rechner?
A THC Rechner is a simple planning tool that helps estimate cannabinoid strength in oils, butters, tinctures, or other infused products. Instead of guessing, you can use basic math to understand how strong a batch might be and how much THC may be in one serving.
This is especially useful for people who want more consistency and safer dose control. Even a rough estimate is better than “trial and error,” which often leads to taking too much too quickly.
How this calculator works
1) Total potential THC
The calculator first estimates total THC from your input material:
Total potential THC (mg) = grams × 1000 × (THC% / 100)
2) Extraction adjustment
Real-world preparation is never 100% efficient. The calculator applies an extraction efficiency value to estimate usable THC:
Usable THC (mg) = total potential THC × (efficiency% / 100)
3) Concentration and serving dose
After that, it calculates concentration and per-serving dose:
- Concentration (mg/ml) = usable THC ÷ total volume
- Dose per serving (mg) = concentration × serving size
Why estimates still matter
No home calculation can perfectly predict final potency. Plant variation, heating conditions, mixing quality, and storage all influence final results. But using a THC Rechner gives you a practical baseline for responsible planning.
If precision is critical, the best approach is professional lab testing. For everyday personal planning, however, this method is a strong starting point.
General dose awareness guide
- Low: around 1–2.5 mg THC
- Moderate: around 2.5–10 mg THC
- High: 10 mg+ THC (can be intense for many users)
Individual response varies by tolerance, metabolism, body composition, and whether THC is inhaled or consumed orally. If you are inexperienced, lower and slower is generally safer.
Practical tips for consistent results
Use the same process each time
Consistency in temperature, timing, and mixing leads to more predictable outcomes.
Label everything clearly
Write down batch date, estimated mg/ml, and suggested serving size. This reduces accidental overconsumption.
Track your real-world experience
Keep notes on what felt mild, moderate, or too strong. Over time, your personal data becomes more useful than generic guidance.
